The Boston Marathon bomber is sentenced to death

Two years since the Boston Marathon Bombing that killed 3 people and wounded more than 250 others, the last of the two people accused in those bombings has been sentenced to death, CNN reported Saturday.

Tsarnaev, the 21-year-old suspect in that bombing admitted he was responsible. A Federal Jury in the US state of Massachusetts deliberated more than 14 hours before handing down their verdict. The Jury found Tsarnaev guilty of all charges against him on April 30, and now the appeals process begins.
As the sentence was read, complete stillness, and death sentence on 6 of the 17 counts. All 6 of those counts relate specifically to the bomb that Jahad Tsarnaev placed at the restaurant and detonated it. It is the bomb that killed the 8-year old Martin Richard and a chines student and injured many others at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013.
The courtroom in Boston was packed with people who survived the 2013 attack. 17 people lost limbs when the pressure cooker bombs exploded sending BBs, nails and other shrapnels in to the crowd.
Keivn Culen, the Boston Globe columnist says it was a common sentence.
Kevin Culen: "Most of the people in Boston didn't want this sentence, but that is in the abstract. The jury that made this decision was sitting there looking at the evidence that wasn't in the public domain... There was stuff in that file that was overwhelming... Anybody who sat through the trial inside the courtroom would not be surprised of the sentence."
